BurnTec is a modern hydrogel dressing used to treat a variety of skin injuries including first, second, and third-degree burns whether thermal, chemical or electric. The BurnTec dressing cools the injured area and ensures a soothing effect for up to 24 hours.
This sterile non-stick dressing is hypoallergenic and helps protect the wound from contamination while allowing it to breathe. This dressing can also be used to provide relief from other skin injuries such as sunburns, abrasions, bruises, swelling, and insect bites.
The immediate application of the dressing also reduces the risk of scarring and its non-stick properties allow you to change the dressing painlessly when needed.
