As far as decompression needles go, these are the best on the market at the moment. North American Rescue has spent a lot of time in designing these. They are a result of two years collaboration with pre-hospital providers and data obtained from ongoing combat operations.
The result is a design that has its own easy to open rugged protective tube to safeguard the needle from any damage while in storage. It features a twist top with quick access and a handy pen style clip. The needle itself is 10 gauge and is approx. 75mm in length.
