This component of the Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) was developed to enable the US issued KA-BAR knife to be carried.

The Specialty Defense Systems MOLLE II Ka-Bar Adapters can be used to convert any hunting or tactical sheath knife into one that can be attached to any MOLLE and Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS).
